Tina and Dan

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of heading up north to Gloucester to capture Tina and Dan’s wedding. I first met the couple at Tina’s sister’s wedding and based upon our interactions I knew it was going to be a great celebration with lots of energy. The day began with the pair exchanging vows against a beautiful seaside backdrop in the warm afternoon sun. While the ceremony was pretty laid back the evening was not, with dancing and impromptu performances lasting late into the night.

To commemorate Tina and Dan’s nuptials, at the bottom of this post there’s a slideshow with music so make sure when you get there to turn the volume up and press play (as an FYI, it should work but I can’t guarantee that the slideshow will work properly on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets – best just to watch on a computer). Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think, and feel free share with others.

Congrats again you two!

Anokhi’s Mehndi

The day before the wedding, Anokhi’s family hosted a mehndi ceremony during which the women in attendance had henna intricately applied to their hands.  Below are a couple of the highlights from the event with the full set of pictures available HERE.  Enjoy!

Anokhi and Benjamin

Last month I had the honor of heading out to San Diego with Andrea and Trey to shoot the wedding of our close friends Ben and Anokhi. Events spanned several days with the wedding capping off the week.  The couple was married in a Hindu ceremony (that incorporated a few non-traditional touches only the groom would think of) on the same fields where the couple got engaged last fall. During the evening the festivities moved downtown to the Gaslamp Quarter for dinner and dancing at Rama, a top 100 restaurant in the US according to Zagat and Condé Nast.

To commemorate Anokhi and Ben’s nuptials, at the bottom of this post there’s a slideshow with music so make sure when you get there to turn the volume up and press play (as an FYI, it should work but I can’t guarantee that the slideshow will work properly on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets – best just to watch on a computer). PS Ben spent so much time pulling together only the most flattering photos on his friends for his reception slideshow that he must have overlooked this gem (CLICK HERE) from back in his grad school days.

Rebecca and Adam

Back in November I had the pleasure of shooting the Newport wedding of our good friends Adam and Rebecca. The wedding, which took place at the Naval Station Newport’s Officers’ Club, was the centerpiece of a busy couple of days for the couple. On Friday Adam graduated from the US Naval War College and by middle of the next week the couple and their family had moved flat across country to the Northern California coastline.
To commemorate Rebecca and Adam’s nuptials (and the epic cake cutting that occurred), at the bottom of this post there’s a slideshow with music so make sure when you get there to turn the volume up and press play (as an FYI, it should work but I don’t guarantee that the slideshow will work properly on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets – best just to watch on a computer). Congrats again guys!

Chad and Rich

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Andrea and my friends’ Rich and Chad’s wedding up at Sunny Slope Farm in Alton, NH. The farm encompasses nearly 300 acres of rolling hills and is highlighted by a classic red barn that was intricately setup and decorated by the couple and some of their best friends (thanks to several days of hard work).

To commemorate Chad and Rich’s nuptials, at the bottom of this post there’s a slideshow with music so make sure when you get there to turn the volume up and press play (as an FYI, I can’t guarantee that the slideshow will work properly on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets – best just to watch on a computer). Tasney and Bill

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Bill (Andrea’s brother) and Tasney’s wedding up on the North Shore in Essex, MA. The event was truly unique with the ceremony and reception taking place out on a sandbar.  Essex River Cruises and Charters shuttled guests out to the sandbar at low tide and despite forecasts for storms there was nothing but clear skies and sun come the big day.

To celebrate the nuptials, at the bottom of this post there’s a slideshow with music so make sure when you get there to turn the volume up and press play (as an FYI, I can’t guarantee that the slideshow will work properly on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets – best just to watch on a computer). Congrats again to Tasney and Bill!

Sneak peak of what’s to come

Been busy the past two weekends shooting weddings.  Just wanted to send along a quick look of what’s to come over the next couple of weeks.  First up: one from Tasney and Bill’s first look.  Enjoy, I look forward to sharing more soon.

Logan, Neal, and Irene

Super exciting post today (probably my favorite one yet)!

Last weekend Hurricane Irene came rolling into town the same weekend of my friends Logan and Neal’s wedding at the Endicott Estate.  Mother Nature forced them to make some last minute schedule changes and ultimately left them without a photographer at the start of the day. At the last minute (and I literally mean 10 minutes before the ceremony) Neal asked if I could do my best and shoot away until the hired photographers arrived. I was a little stressed out by the request but also very flattered, happy to help out, and excited by the opportunity.

Below are a couple of my favorite shots from the day followed by a slideshow at the bottom. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think, and feel share with others. Congrats to the newlyweds!
