Prints now available from Cape Cod Life

Following up on my previous post about a couple of photos being published in Cape Cod Life magazine for the second year in a row, the magazine has announced an online gallery where (to quote Cape Cod Life) “the beautiful photography you love seeing in every issue of Cape Cod LIFE can NOW be purchased as museum-quality prints for you to enjoy in your home or office. Photos can also be purchased in a variety of sizes, either as standalone prints, or matted and framed in your choice of wood or metal.”

I have four photos available for purchase (disclosure: I receive a percentage of sales) but would also recommend checking out the other photos as well.  As for me, below are links to each of the pictures:

Another First Encounter Sunset

Several times I’ve posted vibrant sunsets from First Encounter Beach in Eastham, MA and this post isn’t much different.  These photos were taken in the late spring with the sun setting rapidly, with the sky’s color quickly shifting from a soft purple into a rich orange hue.  Enjoy.

Killarney (Ireland)

After a couple of pit stops in Bunratty and Adare we arrived in Killarney for a couple of nights at the Lake Hotel which sits on the shores of the town’s largest lake, Lough Leane (“lake of learning”). The sunset on our first night was especially warm and vibrant so after Trey went down to bed (sunset was close to 10pm) I headed out to the lakefront and captured some of my favorite photos of the vacation. Enjoy.

Galway sunset (Ireland)

Haven’t posted much to the blog recently as I’ve been traveling extensively since the beginning of May (mix of work and vacation). That said vacations to Ireland and Canada have provided me with a plethora of new photos to share. Up first is Ireland, where we flew into Dublin, immediately drove west across the country to Galway, travelled south along the scenic coast, and then finally worked our way back east for a couple of days in Dublin. I want to keep this post short since future posts are going to be longer so to start off here’s one of the few pictures I took in Galway (after a sleepless redeye I wasn’t that up for sightseeing on our first day). It was taken through the window of our Galway hotel after a quick rainstorm moved in. Enjoy and expect more soon.

Nantucket

Just two quick pics from a recent weekend out on Nantucket.

Same beach, different sunset

With the close of the summer, Andrea and I returned to the Cape for one last quiet weekend before we welcomed our new little guy into the family. We visited many of our familiar haunts including The National Seashore and Arnolds Clam Shack and to cap off the night we headed over to First Encounter Beach to take in the vibrant sunset. Unlike the last post, this time I had my tripod with me and was able to make the most of the rich colors and reflective tide pools. Enjoy.
